We are a small, well established, family run business offering a selection of quality holiday cottages on the beautiful Helford River. Personally supervised and inspected by Visit Britain/English Tourist Board to a good 3-4*, we have well equipped cottages from a small studio for 1-2, a romantic fisherman's cottage for 2-4 and a spacious barn conversion for up to 9. Water views, a tumbling stream and creek-side patios and secluded gardens - a perfect retreat far from "the madding crowds". |

If you have any specific queries please email email:info@helfordcottages.co.uk. Helford river with its quiet creeks and sandy bays bordered by woods and farmland offers a peaceful retreat for a sailing, walking and relaxing holiday. The many picturesque coves and attractive beaches on the Lizard Peninsula, Kynance, Coverack, Mullion and Cadgwith and the renowned coastal footpath are all very accesible and great examples of beautiful Cornwall. The cottages in Helford village all nestle around the small tidal creek within a short walk of the thatched Shipwrights Arms, excellent Post Office/village stores and the Helford River Sailing Club . Online maps of Helford and the surrounding area. Other sites about cornwall include Cornwall wildlife trust , Cornwall tourist board. For photographs, you might try Cornwall Cam. Cornwall has many spectacular gardens: the lost gardens of Heligan, the very local (just a short row away!) Glendurgan and Trebah and of course the Eden Project.
