THE BARNS

These stone-built barns enjoy a sheltered, peaceful position, yards from the creek, bordered by a stream and waterfall. The two properties can link together via a sound-proofed door to accommodate up to nine, or be taken separately. There is a lovely shared lawn, and a patio area for each property with garden furniture and barbeque. Bed linen provided, towels available to hire. Parking for 3-4 cars.

DESCRIPTION

Barn Owl is light yet cosy for two or three, and has a living room with dining area, chocolate brown leather sofas, wood-burner and flat-screen TV/DVD. Beyond, framed by a stripy curtain, is a cream shaker-style galley kitchen including microwave, and utility room housing the washer-dryer. A corridor leads to the double and single bedrooms, both with wash basins, and bathroom with bath and overhead shower.

Night store heating included, normal electricity charged by meter reading. Basket of logs provided in winter.

 Light and spacious, in a private, leafy spot with a nice big garden, these converted Barns make for a fun family holiday and an interesting alternative to the traditional cottage.
