DESCRIPTION

The front path through the wildflower garden leads up to a glazed front door, opening into the atmospheric living room with wood-burner,  liberty-style floral sofa and winged armchairs, TV/DVD and dining area with pine table and shaker chairs grouped around the old second fireplace alcove with wooden lintel. From here steps lead down into the fully-equipped white fitted kitchen, including dishwasher and microwave, with locker-style cupboards for food storage, and a stable door leading out to the front garden with new wooden picnic bench for breakfasting. The bathroom with bath and over-head shower is behind the living room, and upstairs are two lovely cottage bedrooms with sunny floral fabrics, uneven walls, sloping ceilings, and low windows looking out to the river under the eaves. There is a third small single bedroom right in the roof with river views, above the kitchen, and this is accessed by separate, open plan steps from the kitchen. Outside, steps from the front garden lead around the side of the cottage to the steep rear terrace with garden furniture and a great view of the river.

Parking available in lay-by right outside the cottage. Bed linen provided, but not towels. Electricity and night storage heating included, and basket of logs provided in Winter.
