DESCRIPTION

Probably Helford’s most photographed and iconic cottage, with a fabulous West-facing creek-side terrace running the length of the property with steps down to the water, and river views from every room.

The entrance porch leads into the dining room with farmhouse table and chairs and a beautiful warm hand-built oak kitchen including dishwasher and washer/dryer. The sitting room is light and comfortable, with new caramel-coloured sofas, a long window seat looking onto the water, log fire, TV/DVD, and desk at the far end. Steep open tread stairs lead from the dining area up to two pretty cottage bedrooms, a double with 5’ bed, a twin room with wash-basin, and a small bathroom with bath and overhead shower.

Outside, there is an outhouse with a second freezer, and the famous terrace with garden furniture and barbeque to make the most of the unique position that Pear Tree occupies on the water’s edge.
