DESCRIPTION

An extremely well-equipped and elegant Georgian-style family holiday home with delightful views of the Helford River from every room, and only the coastal footpath between the house and the water. It is beautifully furnished, centrally heated, and full of seaside touches with boats and shells adorning cushions, lampshades and curtains.

The porch leads from the front garden to a comfortable, creamy sitting room with linen sofas and warm natural wood floor. There is a wood burner, TV with DVD player and SKY, and a CD player. The large kitchen is duck egg blue and has a ceramic hob, two separate ovens, dishwasher, bread-maker, SMEG fridge/freezer, espresso machine, and a long pine table for up to eight with views out to sea as you dine. A walk through study area with desk, phone for incoming calls and broadband leads to a children’s room/conservatory with large squashy seating area and SKY TV/video/DVD and a utility room with a washer, dryer, freezer and C.H. boiler. French doors open onto a small courtyard with a barbeque, and steps lead to the upper deck with garden furniture and views down the river.

Stairs from the sitting room go up to a main bedroom with 5’ foot bed, en suite shower room, and river views from all three windows as you lie in bed. Along the landing there is a family bedroom with 2’6” bunks and a 2’6” single bed, a bathroom with bath and overhead shower, and a sweet and sunny twin room.

At the bottom of the front garden is the coastal footpath, and below this are steps down to a shingly beach where there is an outhaul with a 10’ Anarth rowing dinghy for guests to row around the creeks.

Bed linen provided, but not towels. Central heating included. Parking for one car.
