Full of character, it has been most attractively renovated whilst still retaining old stripped pine panelling, open beams and a huge inglenook fireplace. The designer kitchen has a built-in ceramic hob, oven, washer/drier, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. The spacious living-room is very comfortably furnished, with colour television/DVD and a woodburner.
Two double bedrooms and a twin bedroom, all with linen included but not towels, have delightful views from under the eaves and there is a pretty bathroom on the half-landing with bath with overhead shower attachment, basin and loo.
Outside, a patio area with garden furniture adjoins the cottage, with lawns on a higher level - not fenced in for tinies! - offering wonderful river views. There is private parking for two cars. Night store heaters - is included, normal electricity is paid for by meter reading. Phone for incoming calls. Dogs are not accepted. |
