“Chy Pyth is a charming traditional cottage with lots of original features in the heart of Manaccan village, making it an ideal base from which to explore the Helford area.”
Chy Pyth, Manaccan
Chy Pyth sits on the edge of the square in Manaccan, and is cosily decorated in warm apricots and floral wallpapers; a genuinely Cornish hideaway just steps from the thatched pub.
The coloured glass porch opens into a tiled hallway; on the right is the comfy living room with two sofas, an open fire set in a pine fireplace, an electric fire heater, and a flatscreen TV and DVD player. To the left is the South-facing kitchen dining room, with cream shaker units, microwave, fridge-freezer, dining table with floral tablecloth and a dresser full of Portmerion pottery. French doors lead out onto the patio with garden furniture and a BBQ, and a jungly garden beyond with benches and bordered by a stream. A downstairs utility
room houses the washing machine, separate dryer and an extra loo. Upstairs are three pretty floral bedrooms with pine beds, and a family bathroom with bath and overhead shower. The main double bedroom, with rosebud wallpaper, has an en-suite
shower room, and there is a smaller double room with views over the Carne valley, and a single bedroom.
Bed linen and towels provided. Night storage heaters. Electricity included, and a starter basket of logs provided in Winter. Parking available in the square outside the cottage or on the adjacent road.
