DESCRIPTION

An attractive and deceptively spacious cottage, full of character and nestling right beside the creek.

The entrance porch with bright yellow gingham curtains leads to a generous sized kitchen-dining room with pine furniture, slate flagstone floor, original beams and old fireplace recess which houses the washer dryer and freezer. A granite topped peninsular unit divides the dining area from the fully equipped pine kitchen, including microwave and dishwasher. The large living room is cosy and carpeted in shades of cream and red, with the sofa and arm chairs gathered round the wood burner and TV/DVD, and a quiet area at the far end with desk and a keyboard. Stairs lead up to the light filled landing and three bedrooms, all with natural wood floors and colourful rugs  - the main bedroom with a 5’ bed, two twin rooms, airing cupboard, and bathroom with bath and overhead shower.

Outside, steps lead from the side of the cottage up to a private elevated terrace with barbeque and garden furniture and views over the rooftops of Helford and river glimpses.

There is a parking space for one car opposite the cottage. Bed linen provided but not towels. There is night store heating in most rooms; two bedrooms have a convector heater. Electricity is by meter reading but is included in July and August. A basket of logs is provided in Winter.
