September Cottage

September Cottage has been completely re-designed and modernised by its new owners, it has been furnished in a minimalist style and decorated in neutral greys and chalky whites to make the most of the natural light.  Situated in the heart of Helford just by the creek, it is a few minutes walk to the village pub, shop and the sailing club.  This calm, comfortable cottage will ensure a lovely relaxing holiday whatever the season.

On entering September Cottage you walk into an open plan living space, with bleached plank flooring throughout, an enormous L shaped sofa welcomes you to relax in front of the wood burner.  Alongside the fully equipped kitchen, a bright, white space with stone worktops, all the appliances – dishwasher, SMEG washer/dryer, fridge/freezer are concealed to maximise space and there is a dining table for four.

There are useful shelves and hooks as you ascend the wooden painted stairs to the bathroom with bath and overhead rainforest shower, a heated towel-rail and underfloor heating.  Then onto a small double room, fitted with ample built in storage a platform for the bed and decorated in greys and whites.   The larger twin room has two single beds, a big wardrobe and views of the upper creek and valley behind.

There are many steep steps up to the top garden which has a lovely view over Helford, but please be careful as it can be very slippery in wet weather.  The terrace above the house is for use by next doors cottage only and does not belong to September Cottage.

Bed linen and towels are provided, the pillows and duvets are all feather and down.  There are efficient electric heaters throughout.  The electricity is included and a starter basket of logs is provided in Winter. Parking is usually available in the road around the creek very nearby.
